The "API-based solutions/apps" section of the forums

The "API-based solutions/apps" section of the forums

Currently there is only one sub-section titled "General discussion".

I'd like to propose that this be replaced with the following:

• Finished projects
• In development

The first forum is for announcing a finished product. The second one if for announcing upcoming applications that use the Wikidot API, or to release beta versions of such applications to anyone that is interested in testing it.

And the "ideas and problems" section should probably only be used for getting help with problems — the feedback site is available for suggesting new ideas, after all. Despite having a separate site for the API development, I think it's a good idea if you continue to use the feedback site for wishes and bugs relating to the API.

I have deliberately made this forum so simple… We are still not sure how much traffic we are going to have and how to "balance" the discussion. I think we will be able to reshape it soon though!
